Seller Safeguard was created by a disgruntled Amazon seller sick of having Amazon pull their listings for the tiniest of complaints. When you have hundreds of SKUs it felt like a new listing was being removed daily. In the Amazon space customers make up complaints for refunds and competitors lodge fraudulent complaints to try and get Amazon to remove your listings.
Eventually our account was entirely suspended due to a competitor bombarding us with side effects complaints and chargebacks. Our account manager was eventually able to sort out the issue but our account was down for over 2 weeks. Our rankings never fully recovered, neither did our sales. We had our account annotated to prevent it from going down for the same reason again but what if the competitor tried to take us down by other means?
We asked ourselves, what could we have done differently. How can we prevent this from happening again? The only option available was to sell wholesale to another company who could list alongside us. But this comes at the cost of profit margin and customer data. Not only does profit drop significantly, but there are less customers to get reviews from. We honestly weren’t sure if it was worth it.
But what if you could get another Amazon seller to list your products alongside you for a small fee? A seller who would also share all the customer data from their sales of your products with you? That’s when we had the idea for Seller Safeguard. Now that we have sold our Amazon business, we are entirely focused on helping other Amazon sellers. We will back up any of your listings for just 10% of what Amazon remits to us (well under 10% of the actual sales price). We will also send over customer data or send follow up messages on your behalf (as long as they are compliant).
